For the fourth time this season FC Utrecht took three points in the Eredivisie. In Stadium Galgenwaard trainer/coach Erik ten Hag’s team beat sc Heerenveen 3-1.

It is not possible, everyone knew that. The angle was impossible, a defender stood in the way and then there was also the goalkeeper, Martin Hansen. So when Jean-Christophe Bahebeck decided to try a shot, many of the people in Stadium Galgenwaard thought he would fail. Impossible, right? Well, it was not! The Frenchman played the ball through the legs of the Danish goalkeeper and saw his shot hit the net. Goal: 2-1 for FC Utrecht!

Successful comeback
That goal was the start of a successful comeback for FC Utrecht, who processed the 0-1 in halfway through the first half in an unlucky manner. Stijn Schaars took a free kick that went via the wall into the goal. David Jensen on the wrong foot, nothing that he could do.

Short lead for the Frisians
The Frisians could not enjoy their lead for a long time in Stadium Galgenwaard. Nearly three minutes after the 0-1 the score is even again. The credits were for Yassin Ayoub. He took a wonderful free kick. The midfielder shot the ball into the upper corner and left Hansen stunned: 1-1.

Wonderful through ball
It was also Ayoub who gave the assist for the 2-1, that was scored fifteen minutes after the equaliser. The former FC Utrecht youth player gave a wonderful through ball and sent Bahebeck towards the goal. An adventure that the Frenchman crowned with a goal, his second goal of the season.

Not over yet

It was not the final score in an atmospheric Stadium Galgenwaard. Halfway through the second half Utrecht struck again. Robin van der Meer shot the ball into the box and there was, again, Bahebeck. The Frenchman headed the ball into the goal and Hansen could not do anything to prevent that. The score was 3-1.

Thee points in the pocket
The fourth quarter of the game both Utrecht and the Frisians created chances, but there were not more goals. The only announcements the stadium speaker had to make were for substitutes. No one in Utrecht seemed to care, three points in the pockets, that is what counted.
